It seems as if Julian Assange’s prediction will ultimately be proven correct after FBI Director James B. Comey announced the Bureau is not recommending that Attorney General Loretta Lynch seek charges against Mrs. Clinton. Lynch previously said she would defer to the FBI decision on whether or not to indict Clinton.

You and I are not paid for jobs that we no longer carry out, make this the same for ALL Australians. Stop ALL entitlements, payments, allowances, including travel allowances for politicians who are no longer currently serving the Australian public. The only way to change things is to make it happen for ourselves, this is something the politicians will NOT make happen, we have to insist on this happening.

Since the 1914 case Weeks v. United States, the Supreme Court has interpreted the 4th Amendment to mean that evidence obtained through a violation of the Fourth Amendment is inadmissible in court. According to the Supreme Court’s more liberal judges, this ruling could set a dangerous new precedent.

The bipartisan proposal would immediately prohibit states and cities from passing labeling laws for genetically modified or engineered ingredients. The bill would also put the USDA in charge of establishing “a uniform national disclosure standard for human food that is or may be bioengineered.” It's all being done ahead of Vermont passing its own state law.

The War on Terror did not end in the physical battlefield. The U.S. government was determined to root out all possible terrorist activity and in the process roll back as many of America’s hard-earned liberties as possible. Only 45 days after the 9/11 attacks, the U.S. Congress passed the infamous USA PATRIOT Act, typically known as simply the Patriot Act. The full Orwellian title is the “Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terro

Senator Paul’s bill would not change the military, but would end the legal requirement that all males between the ages of 18 and 25 register within 30 days of their 18th birthday. The United States has maintained a volunteer military force since 1973, but through Selective Service the military could reinstate a draft and call upon registered males. “One thing I liked about Muhammad Ali is that he would stand on principle even when it was unpopular,” Paul said.

“This is the way the system works, it’s a rotten system, and I see elections as so much of a charade. So much deceit goes on. . . . whether it’s a Republican or a Democrat president, the people who want to keep the status quo seems to have their finger in the pot and can control things. They just get so nervous so, if they have an independent thinker out there, whether it’s Sanders, or Trump, or Ron Paul, they’re going to be very desperate to try to change things. . . . More people are

The core tenet of Libertarianism is the non-aggression principle (NAP). Animal agriculture is a direct violation of the NAP. It is violent, cruel and exploitative. For example, four per cent of cattle will be improperly stunned during the captive bolt technique and thus go through agonizing post-processing in a fully conscious state. Chickens are treated much worse, and often remain fully conscious while they’re plunged into scalding-hot water for defeathering. Dairy farming isn’t much bette

Hunting, BBQing and eating big slabs of meat are somehow seen by conservatives as masculine while veganism is seen as weak or effeminate. Is this really true though? Five-time Ultimate Fighting Championship winner Nate Diaz is a vegan, as are many of the world’s best athletes. Almost nobody hunts or fights with their bare hands. We use guns, spears and traps that give us a huge power imbalance over our prey. Is that really "masculine"? It is even less manly to get your meat from the store that

The “Final Full Report” by the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) amounted to 6,963 pages documenting the horrors enacted by the CIA. However, only a 480-page summary and 20 conclusions have ever been released to the public. The American Civil Liberties Union filed a federal lawsuit in an attempt to have the documents released under the Freedom of Information Act. The ACLU lost their bid last year and decided to appeal the decision. On Friday, that appeal came to an end as the D

This is about as honest an insight to the process of taxpayer fleecing that you are likely to find coming from the establishment media. For our investment, we are going to get 3 ships instead of 32 … and they knew this was likely to happen. And they’re not even finished with the other two ships yet!

Worse, it appears to have been done without a warrant as part of an investigation into alleged fraudulent activity committed by a group of real estate investors. Why exactly this should subject the public at large to potentially have their private conversations recorded as well has not yet been fully explained.

“Whether you care about environmental issues, animal welfare, labor rights or internet privacy, you should be concerned about what is in these leaked documents,” Oulahsen said. “They underline the strong objections civil society and millions of people around the world have voiced: TTIP is about a huge transfer of democratic power from people to big business. We call on all elected representative and other concerned parties to read these documents and engage in the debate.

TTIP’s ‘regulatory convergence’ agenda will seek to bring EU standards on food safety and the environment closer to those of the US. But US regulations are much less strict, with 70 per cent of all processed foods sold in US supermarkets now containing genetically modified ingredients. By contrast, the EU allows virtually no GM foods. In Europe a company has to prove a substance is safe befo

Apparently, the tired trope of National Security is once again being peddled to legitimize secrecy and violating civil liberties. Similar to the no-fly list, where people have no idea if they are on it; or, if so, how to get off it, the FBI is proposing that citizens who have had their biometric data collected might not be entitled to know anything about it.
